On February 10th-14th, we hosted our 4th annual Food Safety Week across the Group. The event aimed to highlight to employees the importance of Food Safety in the work place and at home and encouraged them to work together to maintain the high standards of Food Safety and Quality across our business.
Our 2020 Food Safety Week focused on 5 key topics;
- Allergens
- Pathogens
- Foreign Bodies
- Cross Contamination
- Meat Facts / Meat at Home
Throughout the week, staff took part in challenges, quizzes and activities to raise awareness of the requirements of Food Safety across our business. We were extremely pleased with the high level of engagement from all involved and hope that this success and enthusiasm continues to grow in the future. We look forward to Food Safety Week 2021!
