We are proud to announce that our West Country Choice PGI Ribeye had been awarded the highest accolade of 3-stars at this year’s awards.
Judged by some of the most discerning palates, belonging to food critics, chefs, restaurateurs, buyers, retailers and producers as well as food writers and journalists. Great Taste is the most coveted of all food and drink awards. Securing a 3-star award at this prestigious event reaffirms the high-quality of our naturally produced grass-fed beef and lamb across a range of our premium brands.
Commenting on our West Country Choice PGI Ribeye, the judges said:
“This attractive beef has a good maillard colouration and a fine beefy aroma. The texture is tender and juicy while the flavour of both meat and fat is deep, clean and smacks of happy, well-reared animals, which have been well hung.
A good-looking steak with a good edge of fat, in addition to the marbling. The aroma is beefy and the meat melts in the mouth. It’s flavoursome and quite delicious.”
