We are pleased to announce that our, Livestock Payments Co-ordinator and Community Charity Champion, Mary Hennigan has reached the finals of the prestigious Women in Meat Industry awards.
Mary has been shortlisted in the Manufacturing/Processing category of the annual awards that recognise outstanding female talent and showcase the contributions that women make to the meat sector.
Mary has been with the company for almost 33 years. She has played an integral role within the livestock and accounts team and now deals with over 15,000 farmers annually. Maryā€™s real passion however lies in her voluntary role as Community and Charity Champion. She encourages all staff at Dawn Meats from their myriad of backgrounds to participate in the numerous programmes or fundraising events held either at site or in the community. She is both instrumental and a great ambassador in supporting the most vulnerable in society, both locally and nationally.
The results will be announced at an awards ceremony at the Royal Garden Hotel in London on 13th November.
