Retail packing is concentrated in Dawn Pac West, the Dawn Group's state of the art further processing site in Cross Hands, South Wales, featuring the latest technology available in tracability, robotics, packaging, labelling and slicing. This allows production to be carried out on a scale that encompasses efficiencies available through automation while being flexible enough to process all red meat species in a variety of packaging formats, some of which are aimed at maximising case fills, to suit the demanding needs of today's multiple retail environment.
This department was designed with a weekly output in excess of 1000 tonne/week and currently serves several U.K. multiple retailers.
