Company Profile

Dawn Meats Exports, home to the Dawn Group Headquarters, began processing in 1980.  Having built up a loyal supply base Dawn Meats Grannagh have a strong standing with the local farming community.  Along with this we have focussed our sales and market development on growth, customer satisfaction, correct meat specifications and service to give us a slaughter of over 65,000 cattle each year. 

Through an enthusiastic management team and their attention to detail we have built up a sales and distribution network though mainland Europe and the UK.  We have placed a strong emphasis on producing a premium article from our de-boning operation and have built up a blue chip customer network.  We have extensive experience in dealing with the main supermarket groups in both UK and EU.  Their exacting standards have instilled a tight discipline within the plant to all our customers.  Our management team has evolved over a number of years, combining the training of young graduates with an experienced backbone of senior management.

Our procurement team secure premium cattle in our area for all the different specific markets.  They are au fait with all the marketplace requirements procure the raw material necessary.  Then under a stringent management control of HACCP and Quality Assurance protocols our product passes through state of the art facilities to a modern vac pac chill for maturation and storage prior to despatch. 

All customer specifications are verified both visually and in written form to agreement of all concerned. Our prime beef products include fresh bone in quarters from top grade heifers, steers and young bulls; value added tied joints; vacuum packed primals; PAD trimmed beef and a wide range of fresh and frozen offals.
