Acquired by the Dawn Group in 1999, Convenience Foods specialises in the manufacture and continued development of consistent top Quality Irish Beef Products. We are committed to working in tandem with our customers and suppliers, helping us to develop a winning texture, quality and taste which our customers have come to expect from such high Quality Products.

"Higher level certificate of conformity has been awarded to Convenience Foods against the requirements of the EFSIS standard for companies supplying food products. This certificate incorporates the requirements of the B.R.C standards."

It is the policy of Convenience Foods to be "market led" and "quality driven". The pursuit of quality is never ending hence the necessity for continuous improvement. Inherent in this policy is the recognition that quality is the responsibility of all company employees. This necessitates an awareness of quality, which will be achieved by an ongoing training and quality effort.

With increasing consumer consciousness regarding food safety and food quality, here at Convenience Foods only the finest raw materials are used in the manufacture of our Beef-burger products. We operate under a well-established HACCP system. All our Suppliers are approved by our Quality Assurance Department and are audited on a regular basis. Stringent quality control measures include screening and testing all raw materials physically, chemically and microbiologically prior to use in production. All finished product is passed for release by our Microbiological and Chemical Department and our Quality kitchen.

New Product Development is a critical area of growth and we constantly search for innovative ideas and new recipe generation. Our reputation in the Food Industry has afforded us a strong customer base with whom we constantly work to excel in all aspects of the business.
