Company Profile:
Dawn Country Meats (DCM) was acquired by the Dawn Group in July 1999 with plants in Ballyhaunis and Ballaghaderreen in the West of Ireland. DCM is a major supplier of retail packs and primal lamb and beef products to the Irish, UK and European retail and catering trade.

DCM works in partnership with local farmers to promote premium quality assured beef and lamb from the green pastures of the West of Ireland. Our unique location guarantees an all year round supply of beef and lamb of outstanding and consistent quality.

This is achieved through two unique schemes; the Dawn Farm Assured Beef Scheme (DFAB) and the Quality Lamb Partnership Programme which guarantee:-·

Suppliers with a premium for quality animals which meet the requirements of the above schemes.
Customers with quality and traceability to meet the highest standards required.
Our dedicated QA team works continuously to guarantee the highest standards using a HAACP control system. We are members of An Bord Bia Quality Assurance Scheme and are EFSIS approved. DCM has Irish Quality Association (IQA) approval.
